Report: Putin's address to focus on post-COVID growth
MOSCOW, Apr 12 (PRIME) -- The address of President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly will focus on the post-COVID agenda, spokesman Dmitry Peskov told channel Rossiya 1 on April 11.
He said that Russia needs to compensate the decline of its socio-economic development during the pandemic. "And not just to compensate but to start growing. It is obvious that the address will touch upon that in some way. Some systemic support steps, the president has historically focused on this," Peskov said.
Peskov added that the president is working on the address, and the statements can be surprising for the team that helped him prepare the speech.
